Black Hat SEO Tricks

Black Hat SEO Tricks

Black Hat SEO are the strategies to increase the ranking of a website in search engines but these strategies violate the search engine rules and regulations. So I will recommend avoiding these strategies because these can be easily detected by the smart search engine bot or crawler.

Here is the list of some Black Hat SEO:
  1. Keyword Stuffing
  2. Cloaking
  3. Hidden Text or Links
  4. Doorway Pages
  5. Unrelated Keywords in the page content
  6. Page Swapping
Now let me describe all the strategies one by one-

Keyword Stuffing:

To use overloaded keywords onto the web content to make the webpage easily searchable by the search engine. This is Keyword Stuffing. This technique is used by the web designers and spammers to increase the ranking of a webpage.

The more will be the keywords repetition, the more will be the possibility to search the website for the users. But avoid this strategy because the search engine penalizes those websites using Keyword Stuffing.

According to recent search engine guidelines, keyword density should be 3-5 percent of the whole content and should be relevant to the web content.

Cloaking:

Cloaking refers to the act of presenting the content to the user that is different from that presented to search engine crawler(spiders or bots).

Cloaking is an illegal practice according to search engine guidelines. The search engine may permanently ban or degrade the websites engaged in cloaking.

Hidden Text:

It is one of the oldest technique used in SEO. When search engines were very less sophisticated, this technique was used by the programmers to rank the website for the specific keywords. These keywords were hidden from the users. Text can be hidden by changing the color of the text and background.

You may also hide links to other websites. This technique is also known as "Content Cloaking". But now this spammy technique is easily detectable by the search engine. The reason is these links are not seen by the human but search engine spiders can easily catch those links.

These sites are permanently banned by the search engine bot.

Doorway Pages:

Doorway pages are also called bridge pages, portal pages, jump pages, gateway pages,..also by some other names as well. These are created by the webmasters for some specific phrases to increase the website traffic.

Some people create a page for each phrase and search engines targeting a particular phrase. These pages are generic. People can easily copy the content and make some minor changes.

These pages are automatically excluded by the search engines' indexing.
